A Brief Bio
 

With over 16 years of experience in product leadership, AI, and data science, Ankur is passionate about delivering innovative and impactful solutions for complex global challenges. As the Chief Technology Officer of RedCloud, Ankur oversees worldwide engineering and product strategy, working directly with the company board, investors, and executives to invest, experiment, launch, and hyper-scale new features, emerging technologies, and products across Africa, LATAM, and North American markets.

Previously, Ankur led Oversight Platforms at Meta, powering user and AI integrity experiences on Facebook and Instagram. Ankur also represented Meta to The Oversight Board, an independent body evaluating Meta's decisions, which consisted of Nobel Laureates, Heads of State, and other distinguished members.

Earlier in Ankur’s career, Ankur founded and served as CEO of StatusToday, an AI-powered workplace analytics platform recognized as one of the UK’s hottest AI companies operating in 105 countries, which was later acquired. Ankur has held leadership roles at Amazon and Microsoft, contributing to commerce experiences, Office 365, and developer ecosystems. Ankur is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Commerce, a Directors Scholar at Balliol College, and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford. Additionally, Ankur advises the UK Parliament on artificial intelligence and contributes to Forbes on AI and analytics topics.

Ankur has delivered opening keynotes and talks at global conferences, including HRSE in Dubai, the Fintech Summit on Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2), Capgemini London, and HR 2.0. Ankur also holds multiple AI and Machine Learning patents.
